Mindfulness Podcast Summary

Mindfulness of Doom is a weekly podcast about life, peaceful living, and existential dread. Brian and Cory are mindfulness teachers who put mindfulness and meditation in the context of our impending doom as a reminder to develop ourselves and live fulfilled while we’re alive! They offer practical tips, geeky banter, and deep anecdotes to help listeners find their inner peace and live joyfully, despite the apparent meaninglessness of everything that has ever existed.

“Why Doom?” is one of our most frequently asked questions. “You guys are pretty cheerful.”

Don’t sweat it, Mindfulness of Doom is not as dark as it sounds. Sure, we joke about the end of the world in every episode, but the Doom we’re talking about isn’t apocalyptic. We’re simply acknowledging that this life of ours has an end-point sometime in the future, and reminding ourselves about our mortality brings a sense of inner contentment and clarity on who we are and motivates us to be the best “us” we can be right now.
